Art Lover Annie

Annie loved this perch on the top of a cabinet that held two of my art collection. I like the way she looks as relaxed as the painting’s subject, even to the point of mimic. This was an experimental work using some new techniques I haven’t tried before. I wanted the oil paintings to look more like oil paintings, so I painted them with pastels, then sprayed with Freezer spray from Clairefontaine, then sprayed with acrylic spray. I let all that dry before painting the kitty with soft pastel and pastel pencil.
