The Old Fishing Grounds

“The Old Fishing Grounds” reference was taken at Laxenburg Castle Park near Vienna. The royal Austrian family enjoyed riding and fishing at this park. I chose this reference because of its mood: the foggy morning sky in contrast with the lush greens.
I created this piece with a large variety of soft and hard pastels to add details in the foreground. As blending tool I only used my fingertips.
