Riptide

Living close to Lake Huron is a never ending source of inspiration . I’m able to study the anatomy of waves and their ever changing colour palette.
This seascape reference caught my attention because of its acidic green colours. Vibrant, impulsive yet calming and refreshing.
By layering a variety of values , depth and an inner glow was created. As blending tool I only used my fingertips.
The framed original artwork is currently showcased at a local small business.
