A View of Manhattan
This painting is a combination of things I love: a woman sitting in my living room chair, my daughter's two cats, a Van Gogh painting on the wall, and the view from the 46th floor apartment in Manhattan.
The room and the skyscrapers were underpainted with pastels and alcohol, then mixed hard and soft pastels were applied over. The surface is UART premium mounted board, #600.
