Redwood Meditation
I remember first walking this path with my grandfather. It still gives me a feeling of connection with the earth. The redwood trees so tall I can't see the top. The light filters in, bringing out rusts and golds and even blues in their trunks. This is a place of peace and meditation. As a newcomer to pastels, I feel the earthy pigments are just so perfect for rendering a scene such as this.
